A white man asks a group of East Asian men for permission to date someone’s sister. After proclaiming his love for “Asian stuff”, including his DVD kung fu collection and an online mah jong game, he says, “I just wanted you guys not to hold it against me that I was American.”
The Asian men lean in to respond.
“What makes you think we’re not American?”
